- Completed in November 2022, four residential towers make up Skyhomes, a highly sustainable and modern standing residential asset located in the Malilla neighbourhood of Valencia.
- The two towers acquired by Savills IM comprise a total of 209 residential units over 20 floors with 673 sqm of retail space let to a national gym operator on the ground floor of each tower.
- The towers hold an EPC A Rating, which is particularly of note considering Spain has one of the most restrictive EPC rating systems for multifamily housing in Europe.
- The towers also provide aerothermal heat pumps in each unit, with electric vehicle chargers installed alongside bicycle racks in the underground parking garage.
- Recognising the potential impact of rising temperatures in the area, the Savills IM investment team collaborated closely with ecologists and sustainable development consultants to conduct a comprehensive ecological assessment during due diligence. The asset is now set to showcase the integration of green infrastructure – including a green wall – to mitigate heat stress and enhance the climate resilience of residential buildings.
