About the asset
- Existing asset managed by Savills IM and leased to a European leader in the distribution of supplies and equipment for businesses. Specialised in Packaging, Office supplies and Warehouse equipment.
- The expansion consisted in the construction of a 25.000 sqm new modern logistic building hosting warehouse and offices for the tenant, according to tenant needs (built to suit).
- The process comprised the full demolition of the existing industrial asset and related remediation works.
- The design and the permitting phase was fully managed by Savills IM development team supported by external designers.
- ESG measure included a 1 MW photovoltaic system for renewable energy, advanced insulation to minimise heat loss, airlite eco-paint that cuts air pollutants and reduces cooling energy consumption by up to 30%, rainwater collection systems irrigating 20,000 sqm of green spaces and electric vehicle charging stations promote greener transportation.
