Savills Investment Management (“Savills IM’), the global real estate investment manager, has appointed Alex Griffiths as Global Head of Client Capital.
Alex joins from AEW Europe, where she was Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations. She spent almost 13 years at the firm, leading on Capital Raising and Client Relationship Management, Project Management and Investor Servicing, and Marketing and Communications functions. During her tenure, over €30bn of capital was raised for Funds, Separate Accounts, Co-investments, and Joint Ventures.
Alex will be responsible for leading Savills IM’s global capital raising and investor relations activities, overseeing the firm’s client capital strategy and driving business growth across key international markets.
Savills IM currently manages €25.5bn of assets across debt and equity in the UK, Europe and APAC, where it recently appointed Shu (Shusaku) Watanabe as Head of Japan. The business employs over 330 people across 15 locations and is invested in multiple residential and commercial sectors through discretionary funds, joint ventures and separately managed accounts.
