The Luxembourg FCP-SIF was structured to suit German institutional investors. Given its focus on stable income the European Commercial Fund has achieved or exceeded the income return target of 5.0% pa on a regular basis since being launched, partly through active asset and portfolio management initiatives.
Gerhard is Head of Investment for Germany and Head of Fund Management in Europe, responsible for “best practice” implementation across all European funds and mandates. He has 21 years of European investment experience and also manages several funds and separate accounts, mainly on behalf of German institutions. He sits on both the Portfolio Management Committee and the Transaction Advisory Committee. Prior to joining Savills Investment Management in 2008, Gerhard was at Munich based investment manager KGAL and responsible for the implementation of German closed-ended funds.
